4a. What will happen with my current monthly Direct Debit and when will that happen?

Members won't need take any action to cancel their Direct Debits (DD), but they are welcome after the final collection has been made if that reassures them.

A direct debit it not actually an automated function, it is processed manually each month by a member of our sports finance team and colleagues in central University finance. So we'd simply not collect any further payments.

To ensure all affected members are clear, once we have a firm 'go live' date we will be able to announce to members paying a DD when the final collection will be. This email will go to all DD paying members irrespective of communication opt outs, as it is a contractual matter.

At present that final collection date likely to be 1st April 2026 but that is to be confirmed mid March.

We cancel our all DDs our side once that last payments hit the University bank account.
